The admission requirements for Programme for UTME Candidates are as follows:
FOR UTME 3-YEAR PROGRAMME
WAEC/NECO Senior School Certificate (SSC), General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O’Level), or their equivalents with passes in four subjects which must be at credit level in the same sitting or at two sittings. Two of the credits must be relevant to the course the candidate wishes to offer. Credit in English and Mathematics are required
The admission requirements for Professional Diploma in Education programme are presented below.
General Requirements General criteria for admission are as follows:
a) A candidate who holds a first degree (or above) in a relevant teaching subject from an NUC accredited university in Nigeria or a recognised overseas university.
b) A Candidate who possesses an HND (not below lower credit pass) in one of the teaching subjects at credit level.
The admission requirements for ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN EARLY CHILDHOOD AND CARE EDUCATION programme are presented below.
General Requirements General criteria for admission are as follows:
a) A candidate who holds a first degree (or above) in a relevant teaching subject from an NUC accredited university in Nigeria or a recognised overseas university.
b) A Candidate who possesses an HND (not below lower credit pass) in one of the teaching subjects at credit level.
The admission requirements for the Professional Diploma in Educational Leadership and Management programme are presented below.
General Requirements General criteria for admission are as follows:
a) A candidate who holds a first degree (or above) in a relevant teaching subject from an NUC accredited university in Nigeria or a recognised overseas university.
b) A Candidate who possesses an HND (not below lower credit pass) in one of the teaching subjects at credit level.
The applicant is expected to fill the ‘Personal Statement’ column writing about ‘self’ and his/her professional development as a teacher or an educationist (interest in education, years of experience and how his/her at HND/third-class status will not hinder completion of the programme with high grades).
