General admission requirement

The admission requirements for Programme for UTME Candidates are as follows:
FOR UTME 3-YEAR PROGRAMME

WAEC/NECO Senior School Certificate (SSC), General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O’Level), or their equivalents with passes in four subjects which must be at credit level in the same sitting or at two sittings. Two of the credits must be relevant to the course the candidate wishes to offer. Credit in English and Mathematics are required

  1. A credit in O’Level Mathematics is required for all Sciences and Social Science-based courses.
  2. Credit in Literature in English is required for English Language.
  3. A credit in at least one science subject is required for Mathematics.
  4. Credits in any two (2) of Geography, Economics, Government, Commerce, Christian Religious Knowledge, Islamic Religious Knowledge, History and Yoruba are acceptable for the study of Social Studies.

Frequently Asked Questions

To enrol for any of our courses in the CCED, an application from must be purchased.

A duly completed form can be submitted by the prospective student to the admissions officer via email with the following documents;

• Proof of payment for application form (to be confirm by the college)
• 4 recent passport photographs of the prospective student
• Degree certificate from an accredited university
• Marriage certificate and change of name, if any (for female applicants)

Schools fees can be paid using the following methods;

• 100% full payment before the start of the programme (this attracts 10% discount on tuition)
• 70% payment to be made before the commencement of the programme and 30% before the start of 2nd semester classes


• Inability to access IT portal and E-library
• Restricted access to classes and restriction from writing exams
• Limited access for online registration. Defaulting students will only be reinstated upon payment of required fees.
• Inability to proceed with clearance upon completion of the programme. This could lead to affected students not graduating nor receive awards.

Students are expected to make 70% attendance on each course offered or the student will not be allowed to sit for the respective examination for that course.
Any student who issues falsified documents during admission processing will automatically be dismissed. No refund for any fees earlier paid will be processed for such student.

All courses in the college have been approved by National Commission Certificate in Education (NCCE) and Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN)
Students must always obey all rules governing examinations. Failure to comply might lead to dismissal of erring students.

The college and its members of staff will not be held responsible for missing personal belongings of students. To this end, students are advised to keep all personal items safely within or outside the premises.

• Use of POS machine at the bursary department
Note: Cash or cheque payment are not allowed.

CCED has the right to increase fees as deemed necessary. However, such increment will be communicated to students and be applicable at the start of a new session.

Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Students must abide by all the rules and regulation of the college.

The college has the right to ask a student to withdraw from the programme based on misconduct (indiscipline, examination malpractice, poor academic performance etc). When such happens, no refund is made.

Students will be held responsible for any breakage, loss or damage done in the college premises.
Penalties will be meted out to any student that infringes on the college’s policy or cause any health hazard in the premises.

 

The college will always seek consents from students before using their image and academic performance for promotional needs or advertisement.
